Millennium Piedfort £1 Coin Ring
The Millennium Piedfort £1 coin was struck in sterling silver in the year 2000. The Piedfort coin is double the thickness and weight of the regular Millennium pound coin which was made of copper and nickel. Piedfort coins are minted as collector's items.
The Millenium Piedfort £1 coin features a design of the Broighter Boat which is housed in the National Museum of Ireland. When crafted into a Coin Ring, the oars of the boat remain above the word MILLENNIUM. The top of the boat's mast, two stars and £1 also feature . The opposite side of the band reads Eire and 2000.
This is a substantial ring with a minimum size of U (US 10). This ring can be made with "Millennium" on the outer band or you can choose to have "Eire" and "2000" out instead.
